PIMAX
ABOUT
Playing between Pop Art and Street Art, Pimax is an artist who roams among multiple dimensions, and his works make up of an important part of our gallery’s exhibition.
Pimax’s sculptures are pop, colorful, and definitely modern. Released in very limited editions, they revisit Warhol’s and Robert Indiana’s masterpieces.
But the tribute to the greatest painter doesn’t end there: by creating the series entitled “impressionnourf”, Pimax graphs the everyday life in a modern society just like the impressionists did with brushes in their time.
With his recurring character, “Nourf”, he creates socially engaged artworks which raise pivotal questions of the rapid urbanization of our society.
That being said, you will never see Paris the same way anymore after you come across Pimax’s little characters on street corners.
